Our goal was to enhance the fan experience through social media by providing a live webcast of 2011 Spring Training Batting Practice. Up to 10,000 viewers experienced opening season batting practice. The announcement was made only a few days before the webcast but was quickly spread throughout the Giants fan base through multiple Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets.
The challenge was to provide an on-demand video soon after a live two-day event to celebrate 5 year anniversary cancer patient survivors. Compass provided a live audio/video switch of two floor cameras with integrated full-motion custom video presentations. The final video file format was recorded for ease of on-demand internet viewing. |
